Profits are split from drop shipped products, sets & samplers as well as our added on or embedding services.


When profits are split, the host splits their profits from their hosted members in half with Embed Local.

When host sells to a hosted member of another Embed Local business, then the profits are split in thirds.

Hosts that co-op our direct mail can also use our closeouts to attract customers with our circular coupons.



How Are Profit Split When Hosted Member Is Different Than The Selling Host?

Embed Local would split the profits three ways with 33 1/3 % going to each of the three.

Three way splits occur when a customer shops for Embed Local goods beyond their hosted business.

When Embed Local items are sold, the profits are split between the hosted business & the shop that sold our goods.

Profits are never split when participating business sell customers non Embed Local supplied products.

Only products supplied by Embed Local are always split by the host, not products the host business had supplied.


How Would The In-Store Taxes Be Handled?

The host business would collect taxes & be responsible for paying taxes on any in store sales.


Who Pays The Taxes For Dropped Shipped Product That Members Split Profits On?

Embed Local deducts the shipped product taxes & expenses before figuring the total profit on each product.



Can My Customers Buy Direct from Embed Local?

Your customers can’t order anything directly from Embed Local without crediting you, its our #1 policy.

Split profits from customer sales are always credited to your account through your affiliate program

Customers can opt out feeding your affiliate program, but must use another member to buy through Embed Local.


What Happens When Consumers Call Embed Local Directly?

We can not help customers that call directly without being referred by a retail, wholesale or content member.

This is unheard of from most capitalists, but Embed Local's retail, wholesale & content members always come first.

Embed Local takes each new customers name, town, state, phone number & email to help set up a local retailer.


How Do Embed Local Members Generate Local Interest To Embed Local?

Each manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler has their own shipping preferences, mostly UPS, Fed Ex and USPS.

Embed Local does provide all suppliers our USPS, Fed Ex and UPS account numbers to simplify tracking packages.

If I Order Items from Two Different Manufacturers Do I Pay Shipping Fees Twice?

Yes, customers pay shipping and any drop ship fees from all companies shipping directly to them.

When you buy on Amazon or eBay from different vendors you also pay shipping charges for each vendor.

Customers can use accumulated reward points to discount shipping from both manufacturers.


Besides the Shipping Fee, Why is their an Extra Fee for Drop Shipping?

Most companies that drop ship directly to the consumer charge a drop ship fee.

Different companies always have different fees so Embed Local must convey each drop ship fee to our customers.

But by using our reward points buyers shipping fees can be discounted.


How Do Drop Shipping Companies Figure What Drop Ship Fee to Charge?

Each company is allowed to determine their own drop ship fee, usually from $2 - $5 per order.

Manufacturers can set it per piece, per order or % of order (manufacturers can set the % up to 20% but no further).

Manufacturers know the lower the drop ship fee the better chance of selling product to our members customers.


How Does Embed Local Safely Record my Credit Card Number and Street Address?

Credit cards and street numbers can not be entered online on any of our sites.

All sites no matter how much security can be hacked, Embed Local takes extra steps to prevent being a hackers target.

Embed Local does not put credit card information or street addresses on any computer to avoid future problems.

Embed Local logs all credit card data and street address information by phone, to a live person.

All financial data, credit card numbers and street address are also coded by Norman Scherer, owner of Embed Local.


Is All Drop Shipping Confined to the United States?

All drop shipments and scented soap sampler sales will be domestic, for now.

When U.S. customers sample any of our products and want refills of any soap, socks or book, Embed Local will abide.
